Blackwater Farm is owned by Lisa and Philip Evans and is home to a range of very special, hand reared farm animals. The farm is set in the beautiful Moorswater valley with a few miles of Dobwalls and Liskeard and conveniently close to the A38 with easy access. The farm has two entrances; one for the main farmhouse and the other dedicated to the Bridle & Groom wedding venue and parking area. Driving through the parking area, you will pass the sheep in Well Field and Bell-tent camping area. The newly installed 'Vanity Van' is next to Well field and can be used as a Bridal dressing area for yourself and Bridesmaids as well as a place to meet with the Registrar; there is power for mobile phone charging and hairdryers as well as a shower area. A short distance up the drive, past the donkeys and horses you arrive at the main marquee, Eq-wine bar and drop off point for elderly or disabled guests. To your right is the Hog-Roast 'Porka-Cabin' and Garden Wedding Room. We know how important the toilets are for your guests' comfort, so there is a modern Ladies and Gents along with a fully equipped Disabled Toilet in the Garden Wedding Room. You can also feel guilt free as the venue has high Eco credentials, prioritising natural materials, reusing and repurposing as an innate part of the business. Lisa and Philip have created this venue specifically to create the dream wedding for those who love the Cornish country side with a rustic vibe.
